The Building Bridges Together Program Purpose
Building Bridges Together provides a safe, collaborative community for students to explore different cultures in active, creative ways, ultimately pointing to the truth that God’s diverse creation is worth knowing and celebrating.
What are the Perks of Being in Building Bridges Together?
Building a safe community of peers and caring adults with which to explore how each of us can be peacemakers in this world.
Learning to respectfully approach various cultures and engaging in meaningful conversation.
Experiencing different world foods, languages, and activities.
What Happens Each Program Day?
Together with the Empowering Youth Global Connection (EYGC) Pride of the Nations Club from Holland High, we will share stories and engage in immersive experiences such as sharing a meal together, going on interactive outings, and having meaningful conversations where we will explore stereotypes, assumptions, and other questions.
What is the Program’s Schedule?
Building Bridges Together will occur on scheduled Fridays from 2:30-5pm.
As is true for all Bridge Youth Center programming during the school year, the program only meets on days when school is in session.
